So can this camera be used for Fpv and recording with the latest firmware? Would you just use gopro style leads to transmitter?

And where can I get the latest of these cameras?

You'd have to connect by the mini HDMi socket, is that how GoPros connect to an FPV transmitter?
I'd try to confirm if it works or not from one of the more specialised boards about this camera, I wouldn't be surprised if snags emerge but they find a workaround.
You do seem to need the latest model, mine bought early April does not seem to do anything new in that area after updating.

Just type in SJ4000 in the search box on Ebay. I ordered mine with all mounts and a spare battery for 110 pacific Paesos.(Live in Australia)

ive just bought this camera for my phantom v1.1.1 the newer phantom 1 with dual anttena's ect...


problem is whenever i try to use it i get massive gps interfernce i turn phantom on wait till i get all green flashing lights and home point set the when i switch the camera on all i get is 1 green 3 red lights for gps

As I mentioned one page before this one, the Vision plus folks see the number of sats on their screen. It has been proven that the camera, especially when recording interfers with the gps reception. A fix has been made and you go here to read all about it.

This issue might be the cause of many lost or crashed birds and all of us phantom owners should be aware of the problem.
