Silly question I know, but...

Okay, I've had my P2V+ for just a couple weeks and have loved every second of it. Sadly, the S1 switch broke and I needed to mail the remote control back to B&H. They were very customer friendly and had no issues replacing it. That's the good news. The bad news is, I will be remoteless for the the next couple weeks until the replacement arrives.

So here's my silly question; do I need the remote control to fly it? Isn't there a "virtual" remote I can access through Ground Station? Would that work?

I have seen a company in Europe make a handle so you could use the P2V+ as a handheld gimbal. That's probably the best your gonna get.

This can be either fixed or worked-around by you or a friend with info from here and elsewhere.
