Signal loss at 2700 feet -Phantom 4

Just try flying higher like 400ft and see how far you can reach, of course if you can after that experience :)
 
Way better than a Vision+ auto-landing. That one tip-toes in, doesn't release the throttle, & the slightest breeze makes her skate across the ground until she tips over. That's why I always land her myself!

That's normal when it's in RTH mode. My P3 lands like that too.
 
Got use to the Naza V2 FC RTH landing . Came down super slow and would hover for a second about a foot off the ground and then lightly touch down. I always landed in grass and was afraid to land on pavement . Now thats what I need to do with the P4.
 
I don't think you had line of sight. Watch your return to home. The parking lot you took off from doesn't come into sight until about 1400 feet. When flying around vegetation the farther you go the higher you have to fly to maintain LOS.

Fly the same spot and fly above 300. Report back in....
