Should I update firmware?

Hi all.
Allow me to present myself: Christian, 46, love gadgets. Bought my P3Pro about a year ago. 108 flights in 12 hours

I currently have the newest ios app (3.1.7) and my bird has firmware 1.8.80. Never had any problems. It now give me three warnings, saying I should update the aircraft, battery and camera.

But should I? Do I have to? I guess I can not make the alert go away, but are there any other drawbacks with not updating (besides not being able to benefit from the new fw, of course)
I think I have read somewhere that the newer fw´s include more restrictions. I do not want to miss the opportunity to take long flights. Are there any documentation on newer firmware adding restrictions?

I´m trying to prepare for some nice flights during easter so help is really appreciated.

Nope. I generally read the release notes and wait for others to try it out and report back before I update. Unless there is some obvious benefit like the addition of options that are of value, just ignore the prompts.
