Recently had a bad crash when one of the engines failed on my Phantom Vision. Hit pavement hard enough to dislodge camera and it is no longer working. I can shell out $499 for a replacement, or sink the money into a H3-2D Gimbal and mount one of my GoPros, I just won't have FPV. I keep going back and forth on the option to take and would appreciate any advice or thoughts.

Thanks.

I would go the go pro simply for its versatility. You can use it for other shots you need to get that don't require getting airborne.

But you have zero control of it in flight and lose telemtry. Replace the vision camera...

It's not hard to add fpv capability.

Bare in mind you can't use the most popular 5.8ghz FPV equipment as that will interfere with the P2V control 5.8.

1.3 would be another option to add fpv.
