I have been reading posts and finally ready to set up my P2 with Futaba 14SG, iOSD mini and AVL58. I have read so many posts about woes after firmware updates to v1.08. Should I leave all my firmware at defaults ..or are there some I should update? I have not taken anything out of the boxes yet! Please advice. Thanks!!

As far as I have read, the new firmware for the Zenmuse H3-2D gimbal is the problem. I have updated firmware for everything except the gimbal, and I have no issues. It seems that the way the camera pitch is controlled in the new gimbal firmware is horrible. I would advise updating all firmware except for the gimbal. That should be fine. If not, you will probably have to update the gimbal firmware also, but as I mentioned, this is what I did and mine is working great.
1.08 is working fine for me, gimbal 1.06 causes a few problems , and does not do the job it was designed to do
