I was hooking up the pitch control on my gimbal (cheapo eBay Martinez gimbal) and I accidentally shorted the wires. Now my gimbal only has red LED lit (no flashing green) and I am getting a slow flashing red on the Phantom 1.

The gimbal came with pretty much no instructions so I have no idea if I can reset it or anything. I can connect to it with SimpleBGC and when I do the green LED flashes and the motors run titling the camera all over.

If I have to replace the control board for the gimbal I am ok with that but could I have damaged the Naza?

The bad part is that the USB has never consistently worked on my Phantom so I can't get it to connect to Assistant.

Unrelated but is it possible to use the P2 USB/LED module in the P1?

look like you may have burned the controller SOL the only way to check the naza is to fly it in a confined area.. in case o a flyaway

You know what they say you get what you pay for!!

Yep look like I burnt the controller.

Doesn't really have anything to do with the gimbal being cheap. Just me being stupid and experimenting with placing wires in different places
