I don't like the thought of painting my shell.. Seems like it would be cumbersome and end up flaky. Was thinking about staining the plastic black, but would definitely appreciate some input on this before jumping in as I have zero experience staining plastic. What to use and what you guys would recommend could prove to be Gold. TIA, mahfockas.

Using a fabric dye in boiling water many have done staining of blades.
Its quick and easy to do.
I am sure there are some have done the body shell as well.
