I have a P3A, and my brother who lives next door, just ordered a P3P. Can we share batteries?

What if we have different firmware versions?

You should be able to share batteries irrespective of different FW.

FW for batteries has not changed after Aircraft FW 1.6

So according to DJI GO, my aircraft has 1.6.40, which also means my batteries do correct?

When he gets his Pro, he will update to the latest which I think is something like 1.8 or something.
Let's say the next update (for example, 1.9) has a battery FW change too... If I don't update because I'm stubborn... And my battery has older FW than his does, won't the batteries automatically update (as soon as they get put in the phantom) up or down to whatever the aircraft has in it anyways? Meaning I shouldn't ever have to worry about it with anyone's batteries? (Adv or pro)

Yes, I have 4 batteries and interchange them between my Adv. and Pro all the time, just need to make sure the firmware is the same version on both birds.
