I was in the Phantom assistant trying to adjust the props out of my pics and dampen/limit the left to right movement and I'm a bit lost.

I adjusted the speed of the tilt (top slider). Horizontal limited the upward range and the Vertical limited the downward range.

But nothing to limit the side to side.

At the FPV doesn't seam to do anything.

Little help?

This gimbal is a little wild for my tastes, but I am still learning to be smooth with the bird too...should I expect improvement with my increased experience?

Pretty much, and there's no setting to adjust the yaw movement of the gimbal unfortunately.

The "FPV mode" switch locks the gimbal to aircraft movement somewhat, so if you're using the gopro for FPV (i.e. goggles) you can still tell which way the aircraft is oriented while flying. Unless you're doing that you should leave the FPV mode unchecked.
