Show us your Solo selfie. Would love to see it to compare to the one posted above.

Just curious, how do you do a calibration? If my phantom is within 15 feet of my F150 pickup, I get calibration errors. Nice photos BTW.

I don't bother recalibrating the compass.
I'm within 100 miles of home and the earth's magnetic field doesn't change enough to make any difference here.
Plus if I did, the yacht if fibreglass, the mast is aluminium and the rigging is stainless so there's not much ferrous metal here so it might work.

Uh, are there any Solo's out in the wild yet, or are they still vaporware?

It was a joke, I'm far from a solo fanboy but I do welcome formidable competition (which likely isn't the solo). :D

For sure I like to root for the home team, and yes competition would be great. But it's pretty much astronauts and monkeys at this point. I guess that they are tapping into the hype that launched a thousand kickstarter campaigns. Looking forward to reading a Solo review.
