I have broken a lot of props, CF and otherwise. To my shame, I've also cracked the top of the shell, but I noticed a significant increase in performance and stability and maybe marginally better video when I put on some t-motor CF 9" props. I have a set of the engine but I have not installed them yet, the reviews (like the discussion here) seem to indicate that the reaction and speed is much the same but they are more efficient and give a little better flight time. To me, a little extra flight time is worth it after the weight of the gimbal and GoPro have knocked a few minutes of the length of the unencumbered flight.
I have had good experience with the CF after-market props on Ebay from China, the only props that I really didn't like were the 8" props that I think were stock with the P1. I am not even sure is they are supposed to be used on the P2 but that is how they were advertised. I took them off after only about 20 seconds in the air.
