seeing the flurry of updates, did DJI ship refined hardware with unrefined software?

    Looking at the fact that there have been 3 firmware updates and a DJI app update within a matter of a month since release, does this mean the hardware was cooked but the software was undercooked meaning a lot of features were just not ready and DJI thought it had to get ahead of competition by delivering a barebones solution and build on it quickly?

    They shipped the P3 + battery kits before the 2nd battery was ready to go so I think it's fairly obvious that they did that to be aggressive on the product roll out. The software question is moot IMO as the bird is currently reliable (and has been since day one) and the extra software features weren't promised on delivery.
