It all seems reasonable as far as benefits are concerned. Would have to do more critical thinking about the impact this may have on hobbyists, however, if any.

Not to mention that commenter "Dave Burt" is an idiot

Seems like it's not a bad application for the technology. And, at first blush, would look like a way toward the general public changing their view from one of "drone as war/spy machine" to one of "drone as emergency assistance". Maybe I've got my rose-colored glasses on, though.

Admittedly, a lot of logistics to flesh out, I would imagine.
