Hi Guys,

Please have a read and let me know if it's something I can resolve, I am speaking to DJI and the people I bought it off but I thought broaden my options and seek the experts.

I'm from Bonnie Scotland and I have just purchased a DJI Phantom 2 Vision + and it's awesome... or was... until well here's the story:

To begin with all was working fine in standard
mode using the SD card which came with the unit. I am using a HTC Sensation
phone for my FPV.

Then after a few successful flights the battery power indicator for the TX
remote unit and the SD card indicator would not go green and remained grey
in color meaning that they are not being recognized, although I had green
lights for my WIFI connection and the green light on the TX remote for
power was on and green.

When I attempted to take photos or film video from a stationary point, the
message would flash up NO SD CARD, I have tried using another device a
Nexus 7 and another SD Card a high spec Sansdisk but still the problem
remains.

I can still move the camera and see what it sees but it will not take
pictures or video.

Please also note that in between these issues I have had the system running
normally for brief periods (1-2 mins) then in returns to what would appear
to be a malfunctioning state.

Also for your information I have had no crashes.

I think that I have a loose wire somewhere or a software issue that is causing this sometimes intermittent issue, it is flying ok but obviously I need full control. I have attached a picture to let you see what I see.

Thanks for reading this and thanks in advance to anyone who take the time to reply. :)

Kind Regards,

Craig.

SOLUTION FOUND

I Upgraded the firmware on the Camera, using the SD card and it would appear that problem has vanished. Just so you know what to do if you get the same issue.
Happy Spying, I mean Flying.

Yup, all the firmware and software upgrades are on the site and the others can be located through the Software App.http://www.dji.com/product/phantom-2-vi ... s/download . It was DJI Europe whom emailed this suggestion which seems to have resolved the issue. The only other issue I get and I'm not sure if this is common or not, is when flying in a park surrounded by houses with WIFI connections, I keep dropping connection to the Phantom?

Your right, It is odd!
