I've just noticed this today... Any idea what could have caused it?? The camera doesn't touch the roof.. Could it have been the gimbal protector?

That's interesting. Have you experienced this? This is a new product so it's hard to imagine it's been used already and refurbished. What other factory marks have people reported?

What is that hole from this does not look like it is a new Phantom 3 Pro I would send it back.

I had scratches on mine too.. As far as I could tell, it's from the gimbal lock rubbing against the anodized coating during shipment. Often the gimbal lock is not completely secured from the factory, allowing it to loosen enough to allow movement.

Gsdogs.. It's a dark ribbon or coating. And it's advanced.

Silverstone do you still have it? Can you post a picture?

I vote for gimbal lock .. mine has few scratch now after many in/out of the gimbal lock ...

Nope, sent it back to the seller this morning for a full refund due to the shell cracking after 20 uneventful flights. I'll be buying my replacement from a local dealer after work today so I can inspect it prior to purchase.
