Scary!

    Took out the phantom for a practice flight today and the battery popped out in the middle of flight about 150 feet up over pavement. Luckily it just hung there and didn't disconnect it self. Flew it back to the ground immediately. Close call for sure!

    always a good idea to tug on the battery door just to make sure it's closed tight!

    I always put my battery in with the wires pointing out. I don't think there is enough slack in the power feed to let the battery fall out if connected that way.

    Lately my battery door keeps popping open but as mentioned in the previous post there just isn't enough slack to allow the battery to pop out....so far. :lol: Great photo!!.................and yet, it looks scary.
