satellite maps without wifi on?

using this stuff

P4P+, GO 4
4.1.0 app
01.04.0602 version
1.2.0.0 system


have downloaded maps of my location but
when flying cannot see satellite maps unless wifi is on

and controller says something like
“Cannot see satellite maps unless connected to a network. Downloaded maps are only standard”.

but then various forums say something like
“load up the maps, move around the area, and the map will be cached so can see it when flying with wifi off”

and others forums say something like select “cache in the background” but I do not have that option

so do I
1) fly with wifi on OR
2) try the move round the map method OR
3) your clever idea here

How did you download the maps of your location?

Used Controller. Tapped the folded fan (4th icon at the top). Scrolled around to WA State maps. Hit download.

so I tried the scroll around the map method
turn on wifi
GoFly
scroll around the map, let it populate
turn off wifi
GoFly

and

the scrolled around satellite image remains; nice; see it with no wifi

I guess that is it for this equipment; scroll round prior to flight and image caches automatically
