Hi everybody,
I made something really wrong, my phantom 4 went into sand and I didn't stop the motors.
Then I fly to a safe place to land, but the tilt stop working so I suppose there is sand inside. If I try to tilt it manually when it's off, I feel a kind of resistance.
I see some skews on the side of the gimbal.
Is it ok to try to unscrew them and remove the sand from inside or should I send it to dji?
I never try to open or disassembly any drone so I don't know if it's easy
Many thanks

If you have the right tools and some compressed air (you can get compressed air in a can), try and remove one panel at a time and gently clean it. I suspect that you may want invert the drone and clean the motors out as well. There are some YouTube videos on stripping the gimbal assembly, fairly simple but you need to take your time.

If a human assembled it you should be able to take it apart. Use a vacuum to pull the dirt out, if you blow compressed air you may just push it in further. Rinse with electric contact cleaner. Like tevek said check out youtube and take your time.
