Hi, i have seen that the internet is full with (old) threats and stuff about this subject, but i really can't find a reliable answer....

Is it possible to connect a Samsung gear vr to a phantom 4?

Because your phone clicks in the micro usb port, and the 2nd exit on the bottom of the gear vr is for charging only as i had understand.

I still want to use the gear vr with the samsung stuff so no destroying the micro usb like in some videos on the web

Can someone give a clear answer about this??

    Thanx Marcel

Litchi has an option that works with the Gear VR.

There are many aps that will disable the USB that activates gear vr. Cb enabler for gear vr works great. Basically it makes your phone compatible with Google cardboard and thus litchi. You can turn it on and off.

Not on the samsung gear vr as i know? I tryed it but you have to put the foon in the micro usb inside the headset, so there is no way to connect it to the controller.
Do you know a workaround without breaking it apart?

The app I suggested does what you need even with the USB in. You need to set it to Google cardboard mode
