Ok... my drone has gone deaf. (Probably the fireworks shells were too loud) Anyway the drone can't hear my old transmitter. I did a rebind - no luck. Opened everything up - couldn't see anything loose.

So I bought a new transmitter. Love Amazon Prime 1 day delivery! Also love the new remote - that wheel is super sexy.

And yes, I know how to bind. Press the red button, wait for it to start blinking orange. Turn on the remote. It's supposed to go out. Nope. Still blinks orange - no binding. No motors firing up, nothing.

So clearly something inside the drone is dead. Anybody know what I'm supposed to replace?

I forget exact details. But you have to select somewhere you are installing for the new controller.

Thanks for your reply. I think that was more to do with the tilt wheel speed from what I read. Binding the new controller is just press the button and turn on the remote. At least that's what the Youtube video shows.

I couldn't even get that far.

Looking inside the drone the antenna connects to a long skinny board inside the battery compartment then over to the NAZA. So I'm thinking it's the skinny board. The NAZA is still able to navigate and do an RTH And whatever. But I could easily be wrong. Way over my head.

Edit: Ok... talked to Hunch (Hani) and he says this is the part that most likely needs to be replaced:

It's on order so should be here tomorrow. Wish me luck! I'm going to need it...

Hmm...That only states its for the phantom 2 vision...not the plus. I see its 5.8 ghz..so I wonder if there is a difference?

The Vision 2 and 2+ are similar. They both use 5.8ghz for control. Hani hasn't let me down so far. But if it's wrong, Amazon takes this stuff back easily enough.
