So as I get acquainted with the new bird I really was looking for a way to get very familiar with the controls. I have a local town softball field by my house and have run through a few batteries launching from the pitchers mound and flying around the bases then reversing and doing it that way. Has helped a lot in learning control. Sure I'm not the first to do this but figured I'd share.

It's a good idea... next you should do it with the Phantom at various orientations... like fly the bases with the Phantom always pointing the camera at you or some other object :) Drills with a purpose are a good way to learn! Thanks for sharing

I'm an ugly bastard. I will bring my wife and point it at her. Tee hee.
