Ruin DJI Care?

If I put a hdmi output on my phantom 4 pro remote, would it cancel my DJI Care year Warranty? I don't want to waste spending 130 on DJI care just to have it removed. Or if I broke the drone do I just ship the drone in for repairs or the whole package? Thanks.

Well considering you have to use a genuine #54 module to modify the controller, it shouldn't be an issue. If there was a warranty event, you could just replace the module with the original unit and send that in if you have to. Takes 10 minutes.

Usually you don't need to send the remote unless the remote is involved with the problem.
