I haven't tried this yet and wanted some advice. If I turned off the power on my Phantom 2 remote, thus invoking the RTH function, and then I turned the power back on, can I regain control of the Phantom, or is it stuck in RTH mode until it returns and lands? Thanks.

Sometimes yes, sometimes no.

I used to test this a lot when I first started flying, and sometimes when I turned the remote back on while the Phantom was it RTH, it just didn't get the two to pair correctly, and I couldn't regain control, even if I toggled the switch like they say to do.

Other times it worked fine.

But this is one of the main reasons I switched over to NAZA mode. If I ever needed to manually invoke RTH, I could use the S1 switch. I tested this a number of times and never failed to regain control when I flipped the switch back up.

Since then I've gone to using Home Lock to get me out of the situations that I would've used manual RTH in my early days ;)
