Routing compass ribbon cable?

Hi -

I'm doing a full shell and camera replacement after a nasty crash. Going okay, but I'm to the point of plugging the antennas back into the legs/landing gear, and no matter how I orient the compass ribbon cable, it feels like the antenna is going to crush or cut it. Is there a trick to routing the compass ribbon cable without damaging it?

I am having the same trouble as you describe with the ribbon cable placement for the compass. Already pinched/cut one wire and had to order another. How does it fit behind the antenna module? Thanks!
