When I'm hovering my Phantom and try to rotate it in place, it wants to take off in the direction of the front of the Phantom. Don't know what the problem is. Any suggestions?

Got exactly the same problem - advised to re-calibrate the compass with the dji "dance" and will be testing tomorrow. Will report back if it fixes the problem

Mine is doing the same thing. Everything is calibrated but it still won't stay put when doing a simple rotate. It used to.

This has been an issue for a while. I'm not sure if it is a problem that needs to be fixed, or if it is just a characteristic. It seems, when rotating, the GPS holding is completely disabled. As soon as the rotation is complete, it will fly back to the location where the rotation started.

In a strong wind, it really moves when you start to rotate, but it does fly back. Just hope you are high enough so it does not blow into a tree. :(
