Rolling Back Firmwares

Hi All

I'm tossing up whether to move to the beta firmware on my P3P to have a look at some of the autopilot apps around. Are there likely to be any problems rolling back to older released firmware's having gone to a beta?

Also I read somewhere that the batteries also require the firmware updates? Is that correct.

Yes -- but, no updates have been released for batteries yet.
