rewiring motors on v3.0

Guys I'm Replacing ESC on My P2v+ 3.0 and also want to solder bigger wires from motor to ESC for some reason the original wires won't want to take my soldering it will not stick to wire the 18 gauge treaded are fine any reason , got them estriped and clean Thanks

try "tinning" the clean wires first - done by heating the wires and getting solder to cover the striped and clean part you referred to. Once solder stick to the motor wires, then twist it into the 18 ga wire and solder...

If you cant get the motor wires to "tin", they won't solder

Giving up Mad, my soldering pen 50W is not enough to unsolder the ESC will pay a local RC shop, found that the motor i was working shaft is bent after small fight with a tree a few week ago so order a 2312 motor, sucks but chargin my Hely to fly tomorrow
