Might be done already but, I was out with a mate the other day when we decided to give the return home feature a go.

I turned of my tx and waited.

Realised taking off close to tree was an error.

Tried to retake control but couldn't.

Ended up falling through the tree.

    No harm done.

But, is it possible, once the tx has been turned off, to turn it back on and retake control?

    Cheers

yes, first put your throttle at 50% (otherwise Phantom will drop when you do regain control)
    turn your Tx back on
and then flip to ATTI and you can regain control.

yes,. once you're back in control it'll go back to just like how things were prior to RTH/Failsafe and you can switch between ATTI and GPS freely.
