Resolution and the range distance.

Hello guys,

Does the preview quality (PQ) has influence on the range distance? I have installed the stage 3 kits, but I got 2240 Km away from the home point with the PQ is 640x480 @15fps. The range that I reached is normal with stage 3 with using 640x480 @15fps?.

What are the factors that may be affect on the range distance regardless the surround interferences? or What is the best setting to get as far as possible of the home point?.

Less bandwidth equals farther distances.
Lower frame rates and resolution means better chance of compiling an image. Unlike analogue fpv, digital is just yes or no and therefore no inbetween fpv where you can substitute with static.

In regards to FPV:
Try and drop to 320x240@15fps.
Have you done DBS' $10 mod - Basically moving the FPV wifi panels to front and rear of phantom
