Oh man every step of the way I discover how
My handyman skills are pitiful

I got tired of the wobbling clamp
So I purchased the all metal one from the inspire. I assumed that I turn the screw that attaches to
The RC to remove the original mount. Of course I turn and turn and turn with zero results. What the heck am I doing wrong? It seemed like a
Routine repair... I can make anything brain surgery

Did you also remove the screw from the side of the front of the mount (at the top, left in the photo below)?

The screw at the front which should release from the side is the one that won't loosen. It just turns.

I was wondering about the wobbliness of the tablet holder. It drives me nuts; al my screw are tight (not overly tight, but should be tight enough to keep it from wobbling)... I really dislike the wobbliness.

Maybe it's stripped? Try pressing a small Phillips screwdriver into the hole where the base of the screw is on the left side while you unscrew it. Perhaps it'll help push it out.
