Replacing the controller tablet for the p3s

Hello, decided to replace my cheap android tablet with an Ipad mini 2. After installing Go app, I received a updates required message. I don't have to re-update the firmware for the aircraft do I? After all the trouble I had updating to the newest firmware, I really do not want to do that again. I have the newest IOS go app installed, and latest firware for the aircraft, controller and batteries. Thanks for any help.

You don't have to update even if you get a message advising that an update is available.
You can check the installed firmware version in the app to see how up to date it is by clicking on the three dots icon in the settings and clicking on About
