replacing p3a camera with p3p camera

If I replace the camera/gimbal, I will get 4k quality. Is it as simple as it sounds? I read something about the p3p using a higher speed lightbridge...or does the hardware come with the camera set up itself?

That is what I understand. I have done it.

The gimbal board above the camera will give you the 4k and the 10Mb/s downlink speed of the P3P, but most people who make the change just replace the camera/gimbal at the same time as a unit.

Then of course you need to install the P3P firmware instead of the P3A firmware.

Yep, I did it and the FPV clarity alone was fantastic. Can't recommend it enough! Just cut off the plastic pins holding everything together and unplug two cables - super easy.
