Replacement of P2 only, without remote or charger

Just FYI in case anyone is interested, since losing my P2 in a lake on Sunday, I contacted DJI (through my dealer) to see if I could purchase just a P2 without a remote controller or charger to hopefully save a few bucks. Without any explanation, DJI said that you can purchase a P2 Vision as a stand-alone at a reduced price, but not the straight P2.

Not sure the reasoning there. Anyhow, I ordered the full replacement package and I guess I'll just keep the spares.

Maybe they haven't created a BNF SKU for the plain p2 yet (it was released after the Phantom.). Some people would probably be happy to buy an extra charger so they can charge more than one battery at a time, or a spare TX, so you might be able to recoup some cost.

I didn't ask since that's not what I was looking for. Any dealer should be able to look it up and tell you the price. They said that it is showing currently available (Vision only, BNF).
