Replacement motors and props..?

Hello all,

I've been thinking about replacing the factory motors and props with something a bit stronger. Googling-a-plenty revealed a few possible alternatives, all made by EMAX, who I understand is responsible for Phantom's original motors.

First, there's the EMAX GT2215/12: http://www.emaxmodel.com/views.asp?hw_id=16. It's diameter is almost the same as the original motors', screw locations look identical and its max current is 18A, which matches Phantom's ESCs nicely.

However.... the manufacturer recommends 10" and 11" props and neither fits on the Phantom. I read somewhere the limit is approx. 9.5".

Questions, questions...

#1: Would it be OK to run 9" props on the GT2215/12?
#2: Would installing 9" props "hobble" the motor so much as to make it a negligible upgrade from original motors?
#3: I'd probably have to edit settings in NAZA Assistant. Is there a guide for that on the net?

Then there's the props. I went to APC's website and began reading about RPM limits. If I understood correctly, I can't use 9" Slow Fly props on the GT2215/12 because 9" RPM limit is ~7200 and GT2215 would spin 9" props quite a bit faster than that. Or would it?

Another possible motor upgrade is the Emax MT2213-935KV: http://www.emaxmodel.com/views.asp?hw_id=1240
Same three questions from above apply to this model.

Thank you for any replies and comments.
