Replace 2+ gimble and camera with GoPro?

I m among the many that that have had a minor crash and suffered a complete loss of the camera and gamble on my Vision 2+. I was wondering if anyone has replaced the camera with a GoPro and gamble? How would I go about that and maintain my FPV capabilities?

Any suggestion are appreciated

I think you have to get the H3-3d gimbal (http://www.dji.com/product/zenmuse-h3-3d). I haven't wrecked mine (yet), but I'm interested in switching to a GoPro just for the video quality upgrade (I want 1080p 60fps).

You would need to buy a video transmitter to maintain fpv. These run at 5.8ghz and so are a no go with the p2v due to the control being on that frequency.

The best thing to do is to just buy a p2, h3-3d, vtx, iosd etc .
