Little while ago I descended into a bush. Didn't crash, flew out but I seemed to damage the magnet in the roll motor. (Basing this on others having the same problem).

Acquired a new motor. Removed ribbon cable. Trying to take the old one off and after I removed the set screw from the pitch motor shaft I have been unable to remove the camera from the shaft. I've tried moderate force and heating the aluminum sleeve with a soldering iron. Every video I've seen the camera just slides off.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Change the roll arm too. Dont risk anything by heating unless u use a hydraulic press, then u can remove the old motor smoothly. Good luck

I had one that someone used loctite on. I used a small screwdriver and wedged it in very carefully. It slid off slowly
