I'm looking for suggestions on how to remove the scratches from the protective lens cover on my Drift HD 170 action cam. This is evidently the only model of Drift camera that doesn't have an easily replaceable lens protector -- it is bubble shaped.

I hope the scratches can be buffed out but before I attempt that, your own experience would be appreciated!

If you can't get a replacement, then your SOL, Trying to buff down the scratches will change the optics. Fortunately I've been using GoPros for quite some time now and whenever the dome lens on the housing gets damaged, they get replaced. Have tried filling in the scratch and even buffing, but always the same outcome....poor image quality after.

TickTok... thank you! I've actually made some progress on buffing the scratches out of the lens cover but it is very tedious. I'll try again tomorrow but if that doesn't work I'll order the lens from RageCams.
