Removing the gimbal

Anyone have any luck removing the gimbal & camera assemby from the P2V+? I don't want to brute force those retention pins in the rubber mounts if I don't have too. Any advice... searches on this forum and youtube were empty...Thanks

You'll have to cut the retention pins, it says in the manual cannot be undone once clipped in.

The anti-drops are NOT reusable so compress the damper so the tip of the anti-drop protrudes and snip it off with a pair of cutters.

Thanks guys, gonna order some new ones before I make the cut... or just use a loose fitting zip tie or wire tie...

There are two spare anti-drops in your Vision+ accessory package.

A zip tie will work as a retention pin as well.
