Removing gimbal adding servo and need more movement

So I have attached a servo to my P2 and connected it up so it operates using the pitch control button on my controller. The issue I am having is a lack of movement.

With my previous Vision you could adjust the movement of the tilt servo in the assistant software, however for my P2 I only have the gimbal moving option, and when I adjust these settings nothing changes.

Any ideas how I could get further movement out of the servo I have connected?

Have you hooked the servo up to a servo tester to verify it has the range of motion you need?
(Not sure about the Assistant software; I don't have that computer near me now.)

Been trying some different servos. Think I may buy a servo stretcher to get some more range.
