Yea ...I know this sounds scary but, hear me out. ;)

I'm interested in dying the front of my batteries to match my props for better visibility. Possibly help with determining which way the AC is facing with LOS. Has anyone ever removed the front cover off of P3 batteries? Just thinking out loud....

Thanks

Had it done before I saw the vid. Fairly easy.

After watching the vid, they do it the hard way. Just go up under the four corners (you can just use your fingers) and pry 'er off. Done deal. Might use some liquid mask to cover the clear parts before dying. I'll post a pic when she's done.

I would have swore, the battery cover material was the same as the props but, no so. In the dye at 90c for 45 minutes and... nada. Not even a light hue of orange appeared on the cover. So it's either paint or leave it be. Think I'll leave it be. ;)
