Remote controller: only 2 led indicators blink

Hello,

I just bought a new Phantom 3 standard, but when i try to charge the remote controller through the micro USB port:

1) connect through micro usb port
2) orange (or red?) power led is solid (no other leds are blinking)
3) when i switch the power button, it seems like the remote controller is charging but only the first 2 led indicators are blinking.

i left i for a minimum of 10 hours charging, but only 2 led indicators blink.

Is this normal?

Are you able to turn on the controller while not plugged in? How many lights are lit while not plugged in and turned on?

You left the power on? or off?
What are you using for power to charge, might not have enough amps.
