Experience flight time and additional weight to lift?

Hi there has anyone already tested out how much flight-time it costs if 100g additional weight has to be lifted?
In the instructions is stated that the p2v can lift +300g.
I'd like to mount an adittional cam under the normal cam or a bubble shooter.
If anyone has already found out the combination between extra weight and reduction of flight time pleas give me a hint ;-)

+100g = -? Min
+200g = - ? Min
+300g = - ? Min

On the original Phantom forums, the basic formula used is 1 second per gram.

So if you install that 76g GoPro3, there goes 1min 16sec flight time.

More or less...

I have not done a lot of maths with it but when doing some test flights I found that if I switch off the power to the gimbal and FPV it only gives me about 30 seconds more flight time,so the time reduction from fitting that gear is nearly all in the weight and to a lesser extent wind resistance and very little from actual power draw.

First generation Phantom;
In stock form,GoPro 3 only,flight times are between 9 and 10 minutes.
With everything powered up,gimbal and FPV,the flight times are between 5 and 6 minutes.AUW 1250g
I'm waiting on new T-Motors and tri blade props and hoping to get some gains after their fitted.

DrestonF1,that formula is pretty well on the money because I'm pretty sure I get about 1 minute or so more flight time with the stock Phantom without the GoPro.I'll do some maths and see what it works out like with the gimbal,FPV and GoPro.

Re: Relation between additional weight and reduction flightt

Hi there!

So i have tested it personally on a windy day (14 Miles/hour).
+100g weight lets the p2v fly 16 Min. Before he reaches 29% power level.
With +300g weight he flys 12 Min. Until 29%.
So plenty of power if you are quick in shooting videos ;-)
