Hi-
I contacted the FAA about the new registration process. They told me the registration process is separate and that you need to register the drone even if you have an N number and valid 333 exemption? I would think the N number would suffice.

Yeah, that doesn't sound right. But who knows? I'm sure it will change day-to-day as new revelations are seen that make the process that much harder. Maybe it's a separate registration for a commercial and a personal drone? I'm sure someone in the know will be along shortly to inform us.

Hey, silly rabbits - you're dealing with the government - logic, efficiency, customer service / convenience (I can keep going) do not apply

and what's worse is you have to do it all on paper because the online site doesn't support your situation yet...

Yet another well conceived and developed government plan...

I was told opposite at my local FAA office. (Oakland,CA)
