Red charging light dosnt go on when Gimbal on

Hello fellow pilots I have a problem seems like with the Gimbal.I have the new h3-3d 1.1 with the flimsy *** usb cable everything seems okay. Other than I don't think my Go-pro 3 black is charging the red charging light dose not appear on when the phantom is lit.Any ideas ? Also I would like you guys to chime in and list your gimbal config as far as tilt control gain, Horizontal limit, and vertical limit . mine is on 50,-30 0 it just doesn't seem right.
