I was just rerouting my receiver cable to install my gimbal and broke one of the antenna connectors off the board. I have the Phantom 1 with the dual antenna 2.4ghz part 31 receiver board. Of course there are no cheap ones to be found but eBay has a few Phantom 2 part 5 receiver boards listed. Will they work? The listings I saw say they are 2.4ghz and work with the DJ6 transmitter and that's the transmitter I use for the part 31 receiver.
Does that make it the same board with different part numbers for different copters but same hardware or is there a firmware / software issue to be had? I would like to hear from people who have used or attempted this configuration.
