Just got my Drone Crates roller case yesterday and it's great. I've owned Pelican cases and being prior military I've used a lot of these types of cases before. And Drone Crates is just as nice. Very sturdy and the foam is cut perfect. The remote and Phantom both fit nice and snug with no wiggle. Plus my 10 inch Tab 4 fits perfect as well.
Note: I put the DJI decal on the case.

It's very difficult to see in the many pictures posted, but how does this foam differ from the type used in the Tradecraft cases, for example? What benefits does it provide? (This may have been answered in another thread, but I couldn't find it; please point me to it if that's the case)

We use a much higher grade foam. They use a large cell recycled foam which is much more stiff/hard/and scratchy and we use a premium grade micro cell foam that holds shape but offers a softer feel. The cells are basically air bubbles within the foam, so the larger the air bubbles the stiffer the surrounding areas have to be to hold shape where the inverse is also correct: smaller bubbles the softer the surrounding areas can be. Hope this helps.
