This is my first attempt at rebalancing the gimbal with the PolarPro ND filter mounted. This is just a prototype using a penny, a paper clip and some double sided tape -- true MacGyver style. It seems to balance in both pitch and roll axes. The whole idea of the paper clip is to add less weight and get the same effect by extending it further from the rotational axis.
Four small dabs of glue under each pad of tape should be enough to keep them in place. Once in the field, I can bend the paper clip as needed to fine tune and make sure it clears under full tilt.
