Rear Red Lights

I flew Function mode today just for the second time ever. Everything went well, and normal. I noticed after switching out of function mode the rear red lights did not switch back to green, after pushing back up to P mode. Why? It did say I was in P mode on the iPad. Appreciate any advice/tips for next time, and fly safe[emoji106][emoji41]
