Odd one it's flying fine but all LEDs are red indicating critical error. Any ideas ?

Figured if it was blinking it might just be that your close to a NFZ. Haven't run into the solid lights, so far, can't help you on that one.

It did look to be leaning to one side when hovering. IMU maybe ?
Could be. Probably wouldn't hurt to recalibrate it. Make sure it is good and level and outside when you do it.

You don't need to be outside when you calibrate the IMU. That's only for the compass calibration. You DO want to calibrate the IMU when the quad and battery haven't been in use for a while, so they're at ambient temperature.

Thanks recalibrated outside anyway all seems fine. How flat does it need to be i got it as level as possible but obviously its outside so can't be 100%

It needs to be really level. That's one of the reasons it helps to do it inside. Use a level (a real carpenters-type level, not a smartphone app that isn't calibrated) to make sure the surface you're working on is perfectly level. Use shims to get the surface level if you need to (some people use cutting boards with pieces of paper under them to make it easier).

Then put your drone on the level surface and run the IMU calibration immediately after powering it on (you want the bird and the battery to still be at ambient temperature, not "warmed up"). Take care not to touch or bump the surface you're working on during calibration, which takes a few minutes.
